Saturday Selections: January 15, 2022

Here are a few items that I currently have in my makeup bag and you will be shocked to know it is not all Beautycounter!

01. Beautycounter - Glow First Priming Serum

One of my favs to come out this year from Beautycounter. I have definitely noticed a difference the staying power for of my make-up, plus who doesn’t love a little glow. I apply this after my moisturizer. Maybe that’s ass backwards, but I love the sheen.

02. Beautycounter - Skin Twin Foundation

Skin twin foundation. Still one of the best foundations I have ever used even after they re-formulated it. It is light weight but for the times I need a little more coverage I just add another layer to build it up.

03. Ilia - Super Serum Skin Tint

*Full disclosure I am a huge fan of Beautycounter’s Dew skin but my color is out so I thought I would give this a try

I shouldn't have to mention it, but I will, how important sun screen is. I have seen a lot of my favorite instagramers chatting about this and I have to say I do love it. I sadly bought the wrong color so it’s a little light but it is also light weight and has a glow like effect.

04. Beautycounter - Lid Glow Cream Shadow

Another fan fav. Goes on easy and lasts all day. Also super convenient for traveling (If we ever get to do that again!). I started with one color and now have most of them because they are just so darn great.

05. Ilia - Clean Line Eye Liner

Sadly, Beautycounter discontinued their liquid eyeliner and I loved it so. Again I have heard great things about this eyeliner and again I have to agree it’s pretty great. It’s actually easier to use and has a huge color pay off.

06. Westman Atelier - Tinted Highlight

Okay this might be my absolute favorite new addition. This highlighter is NOT cheap but dang it’s good. The glow and payoff off is perfect. I put that s&%T EVERYWHERE. Westman Atelier is a splurge, but I know there is so much that goes into clean beauty that in my opinion it’s worth it!

07. Beautycounter - Cheeky Cream Blush

This is an absolute must for your makeup bag. The color payoff on these are unlike anything I have tried. They last way longer then a normal blush and can be even used on your lips for a little extra color. A must!

08. Beautycounter - Think Big All-in-One Mascara

EEKKKK this long awaited beauty was worth the wait. My lashes have never been longer and fuller. Hands down one of the best Mascaras I have used.

09. Westman Atelier - Lip Balm

I also decided to try the lip balm/gloss. It’s okay… but for the cost I would rather stick to my Beautycounter gloss. It is super glossy which is nice, perhaps I should have gotten something with more color.
